Interaction with riverside communities
The Study Group on Mathematical Education and Amazonian Culture (GEMAZ), linked to PPGECM and coordinated by teacher Isabel Cristina Rodrigues de Lucena, has been developing projects and actions together with the riverside population. In this sense, the project “Mathematical Literacy in the Riverside Amazon” is underway, through the Education Observatory (OBEDUC) program of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).
