Contribution to the Amazon Science and Mathematics Education Network (REAMEC)
Most PPGECM faculty members are participants in the Amazonian Network of Science and Mathematics Education (REAMEC), a Doctoral course in the network of Higher Education Institutions (HEI). Within the scope of REAMEC, the teachers develop orientation activities, evaluation of work in seminars, qualifying boards, selection processes and course development. The Network is organized in three academic centers: Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and State University of Amazonas (UEA). REAMEC Doctoral students have the possibility to participate in PPGECM activities through enrollment as a special student, in case of demand. The Program contributes to the Network through the provision of its infrastructure (classrooms, laboratories, auditoriums, library) and the assignment of teaching hours. In addition, part of the students of PPGECM make up the faculty of the Graduate Program in Teaching in Education Science and Mathematics (PPGDOC), linked to the Institute of Mathematical and Scientific Education (IEMCI / UFPA).
